I have thoroughly enjoyed sharing posts with you all and communicating through the comments forum, and I am blessed to have such loyal readers.
With the six-month anniversary of Nashville Wife coming up this Thursday, I thought I would give you a chance to provide feedback. After all, the primary purpose of a blog is to write about topics that interest the readers.
What are your favorite posts that I have shared? What types of post would you like me to share in the future? Do you have any questions that you have been eager to ask me? Ready, Set, Go!

Hi Ellie!!!!
I love when you post about your personal life . I like learning more about you. I feel like we have very similar interests.
Here's my question(s): were you home schooled growing up? Did you have chaperoned dates with Mr handsome?

I'd love to hear the stories of how you know the Duggar and Bates families.

Hi Ellie. I would like to see a list of your favorite Bible verses. I'm always curious as to what other Christians find inspirational.
Sonya
We love your blog! Thank you so much for the great posts and recipes! We have really enjoyed all of your posts (maybe that isn't so helpful, but its true:)) As far as other topics, we love the recipes. I am especially trying to get more vegetables into our meals, so I would be especially interested in those types of recipes. Of course we are excited to read about how you met the Duggar and Bates families and with since you met your husband while in college, I would love a blog about how you chose your college, if you thought it was a good experience – how did you stay/grow as a Christian in college since I know that can be a tough time, so any advice is very welcome! Thank you so much!

I would love to hear more about your wedding, and to see more wedding pictures!

Hello Ellie, I have really enjoyed all of your blogging. I am interested though to know how you actually got started with it, how you officially met the Duggars, Bates, etc., It is nice that you share some of your personal side as well, as it is a good way to get to know you. I think it would be fun to occasionally pick a topic such as sharing your favorite Bible verse and why, what is your best cleaning tip, etc.. and through it out to your readers, as we could all share some wonderful thoughts and ideas. Happy Anniversary! Thank you for all you share with us!

Congrats with the 6 month mark! I love best of all the DIY projects, and all the careful budgeting tips and ideas that you share! π
…And of course wedding photos! π
It would maybe be quite nice if you did a write up on yourself… like tell us 20 random facts about who you are, what your main hobbies are, ect… π I always like to know a bit about the bloggers I follow, makes it feel more real and not just computer generated! π

Hi Ellie! I'm an avid reader of ur blog. I would like to know if u were homeschooled and if u r gonna homeschool ur children? I would also like to know ur favorite names and Mr Handsomes favorite. And what does ur wedding ring look like.

Hi Ellie! I love reading your recipes. I'm hoping to try the home-made chipotle burritos this weekend!
I also really enjoy just the general day-to-day updates on how you are adjusting to married life and the little arrangements you and Mr. Handsome have made, such as the Magnificent Meal Mondays. You seem so sweet and the two of you so much in love. I find it very inspiring, and it helps me to treasure those little moments in life too π –Sharon

I enjoyed the beautiful occasion of your wedding. With Thanksgiving and Christmas up coming there
will be more lovely information for you to share! Everyday stuff is always relevant and interesting, such as everyday meals, menus, budgets, savings, cost cutting, hospitality, storage, whatever.

Were you able to ask Jessa Seewald in your recent interview whether Jim Bob is really going into the matchmaking business? We'd love to "apply" for a date with Tim Tebow or any of the unmarried Bates or Duggar boys. We have six girls in our family, so the possibilities/matches are endless!

I am always looking for different ways to minister to the less fortunate. What do you and your husband do as far as mission and ministry work?

Ooh, that's a good one.

Hi Ellie,
I really enjoy reading all of your blogs, the Duggars, Bates, and Willis Blogs. Are you going to continue the Willis blog? Also, in the pictures I have seen of you, you have been in a skirt or dress. Was this just a coincidence or do you wear skirts and dresses for modesty reasons as the Duggars and Bates do? Thanks again for being a great blogger!

More wedding pics and details!

I am most interested in the recipes. Tried the cilantro corn and the lime rice and they were both winners! Nice, easy, and quick too. I agree with the above comment, while I've been married 19 years, you remind me of being newly married and that is precious. Thank you.

What's your husband's actual name?
Anonymous
I would love to learn your husbands real name.
Nuchtere Noorderling
Why is his real name that important?
Let them have some privacy.
Anonymous
Why aren't people allowed to be curious? I don't think people are trying to invade her privacy. Perhaps, they want to pray for them and feel funny praying for Ellie and Mr. Handsome.

more on your wedding!!!!!!!!!! you were sooooooooooooooo gorgeous and i would LOVE to see more pictures and details!!!!!!!!!!!

Hi! I'm a reader of your blog as well, i'm dutch and i love the internet cause being 'friends' with another young women across the ocean is very special! I love your blog! I have a question though that may sound a bit rude. Your husband is a dentist and you are a journalist, right? How come than that you don't have so much money? I mean making a bookshelf from a carton box is creative but like a closet from a thriftstore is not so expensive right? Or maybe ikea? I don't like to be materialistic as well, and we buy lots of secondhand stuff but i get the impression that you guys don'r have a lot of money instead of good jobs? Blessings, Mieke

Hi Ellie!
I love all of your blog posts! As many other readers have asked how did you meet the Duggars and the Bates? I really enjoy your recipes and hearing about your personal life! What do you enjoy to write about in your free time? I also like to write! Do you have any tips? I love the pictures you have shared with us around your home! It is very pretty!
Aiyanna
Hi Ellie! Just curious to know, do you wear pants, skirts, or both? I haven't seen any pictures of you in either…so I'm just wondering. π
Anonymous
Do you do any regular volunteer work? If so where do you volunteer? I volunteer with animals shelters because I love cats and dogs. I have a soft spot for the older animals that really need a loving, forever home.
Anonymous
I'm interested in your lifestyle. Why you don't work outside home? Is it a religious thing? Are you not bored being home all day on your own?
Were you homeschooled? Are you planning to homeschool? Are you planning to let your future children to go to college? Will you teach your daughters to be dependent on their husbands or to be able support themselves? Are you always wearing a long skirt? Do you blog with your mother tonavoid using the Internet on your own?
Thanks for blogging!

I don't want to single out any one poster but I think readers should give Ellie a break about her husband's real name. She has obviously chosen to call him Mr. Handsome and it's not going to change. Not knowing his real name doesn't change what she is writing or the quality of her blog. She is really opening up her life to readers on many other fronts. We need to respect her privacy on this one.
Anonymous
I agree! I don't understand why people are making such a big deal about knowing his name. It really won't make a difference whether we know his name or not. I think Mr. Handsome is a great nickname!

Do you do date nights? How often and sharing sometimes is news.

What is the testimony for yourself? And what is that of Mr Handsome?

That's a good question! I'd love to hear those too. π

Congrats on 6 months! What are your 10 most used wedding gifts y'all recieved? And what would you recommend to engaged couples to put on their registry?
Anonymous
I'd like to know if you were homeschooled? Also, how much of the duggars/ bates' philosophies do you follow? Do you plan to continue following these philosophies as you begin your own family? Thanks so much!
Anonymous
I enjoy your Nashville Wife blog, but I must say that I find it extremely weird that you call your husband Mr. Handsome. What's so bad about telling us his first name?
Anonymous
It's just a privacy thing; let's all respect her choice.
Anonymous
She's right
Anonymous
It is weird though. No last names are fine, but what is the harm of a first name?
Anonymous
Regardless of whether one thinks it's weird or not, it's Ellie's choice. She doesn't work for us. She is volunteering to share her life with unknown people all over the world through her blog. I think that's pretty brave and honestly, we should be happy and accepting of whatever she chooses to share or not share. As for my 2 cents, it's not weird. Respect her privacy.
Anonymous
Mr. Handsome just sounds so formal. Why not call him Handsome instead, if she's that opposed to us knowing his first name??
Anonymous
Everyone has to remember that her husband is a dentist so sharing his first name could be an issue with his profession
Anonymous
I would love to hear about your writing: why you decided to be a writer, where you're working now, and what you're writing your book about!!
What are some of your favorite baby names? Does Mr. Handsome like any of the same names?
I don't know how many movies you watch, but do you have any good, wholesome Christian movies to recommend?
What can we pray for you about?
How did you meet Mr. Handsome? How long have you known him? I'd love to hear some cute stories!
Do you have any advice for high/school college students who have a lot of homework? How did you keep up with your schoolwork while taking time for God and other things?
What are some of your hobbies?
Do you and/or Mr. Handsome speak any other languages?
Do you have a bucket list? If so, what's on it?
I'd love to hear book recommendations!
Do you think you've discovered your calling yet? Is it to be a writer?
Do you and Mr. Handsome have any big dreams for the future (i.e. move to another country, etc.)?
Where do you shop? I keep looking for knee-length skirts and dresses, but I'm very cheap so I don't like spending much money on each clothing item. If you have talked to the Duggars and/or Bateses recently on this topic, I'd love to hear their advice as well. They used to always say they shopped at thrift stores but either Arkansas and Tennessee have better thrift stores than I can imagine, or they have been shopping at other places recently.
I know that's a lot! Now you will never run out of things to blog about!! π
Thank you for all your hard work!

Agree, would love to hear your about your book favorites. As a literary student I read all the time. I easily read 2 novels a day so I'm constantly looking for new suggestions – especially good novels that are worth spending your time on π

I would like to know about how you and your husband chose your church (if you have chosen one yet) or your search thus far if you haven't. What criteria do have in finding a church home? What have you liked and not liked about churches you have visited?

Yes! I really would like to know this one.
So hard to find a good church!

Hello Ellie,
I like your money saving and DIY tips and your recipes, so please go on.
But I'd like also know more about the way you live your faith. Do you have the same modesty standards than the Duggar girls ? Are you always wearing skirts and never any pants ? Do you plan to get a job outside of your home ? Are you planning to homeschool your future children ?
Many thanks for the last 6 months of blogging and please excuse my mistakes, my english is quite weak. Anne from France

I want to know what standards of modesty you hold in your clothing choices. And what I'm most interested in is do you have any advice on where to shop for such modest, women's clothing? I like to wear knee length skirts. And as for undershirts, do you wear them? And where do you often find them at a good price? How much time do you spend shopping, if you do, at second-hand stores to find the things that you like and that fit you? I find it would be inefficient to go there all the time, but I find it is what may be necessary in order to "run into" the exact clothing I am looking for and that fits me correctly.

hi Ellie! i had a few questions:
