Just reached 2 million pageviews on NashvilleWife.com! (2,075,803 to be exact.) I am grateful for all my lovely readers from across the globe. Check out my video message below. Wishing you and your family a blessed Easter.
Thank you, Regina. We spent time with both sides of our family. Attended a bridal shower for my sister-in-law and went fishing. We also had a big Easter meal and went to church. How about you?
That is terrific! Congratulations Mr and Mrs Handsome! This is one of my favorite blogs, I usually check it daily, keep those blogs coming, thank-you for all your hard and constant work! May God Bless you!
Congrats! You are beautiful Elly ๐ Is Elly short for something? My name is Ellyn, but I go by Ell more often than Elly. Have a great Easter weekend!!! ๐
Off topic, does Mr. Handsome have any good ways to remove paint from skin and nails? Painting a bedroom and I am covered! Thought Mr. Handsome might have some tricks up his sleeve since he loves to paint.
I looked like I could audition for the witch in "Wicked" after painting some outdoor stuff with green enamel spray paint on Friday. I let it dry and then got in the shower and scrubbed with soap & water as well as a soft mushroom brush (vegetable brush). That took care of it. What little didn't come off of my nails, I removed with nail polish remover. I no longer qualify for Elphaba and am back to looking like my clean Glinda self again.
Surgeons use plastic brushes like that to scrub up for surgery. It didn't hurt my skin. If it's soft enough for a mushroom…
I have been painting too and my hands also got covered in paint. So I thought of a solution to beat this problem, for the next day I paint, (which is going to be soon). It was this, just yesterday….I bought a pack of six latex gloves from the hardware store!
Here is another question Ellie. I am wondering if you or you husband have any allergies that make you sneeze and weeze? If so what do you do about it? The place I am working at painting i think has some mould. I have to work so I can't complain and back out. The second day I went back in for a half hour, my nose started reacting immediately. Now at home I am more sensitive too. I am planning to wear a mask and open windows the next day I work. But what are some solutions to calm down allergic sneezing and weezing once it starts?
People laughed at me when I painted cause I was covered and I did not like that. I worked hard and thought I did an OK job and I got laughed at instead of thanked.
A scrub brush works well once the paint is dry. To remove paint from our clothes (before it dries), we use mineral spirits.
To the reader asking about allergies, I struggle with springtime allergies. Last year, I had a terrible allergy cough that lasted 2 months. This year, whenever I feel the cough coming on, I drink a big glass of water with a teaspoon of apple cider vinegar mixed in, and then I'm fine for several days.
If it's mold related, I would definitely recommend opening the windows and wearing a mask, as you said. Be careful, as mold can be dangerous.
I was wondering if you follow any other blogs. I know you created digger fam and bates fam amongst others. I was curious where you get your blogging inspiration. Thanks.
I spent a lot of time looking at other blogs and websites when I first started blogging, but I've had issues with back/neck/wrist pain, so I have had to cut back on that, since I spend so much time on the computer already.

I would get waterproof paint that way it's easy to get off your skin and cloths.
