Last week, I received my first #FabFitFun Box, and I have already fallen in love with the products inside.
For those who haven't heard, FabFitFun is a subscription box filled with beauty, wellness, fashion, and fitness products that is delivered to your door each season (four times per year). I was invited to become a #FabFitFunPartner and was sent the fall box for free.
I'll admit that subscription boxes have never been my thing. I expected a box of cheap and junky products that I would never use, but I was thrilled to find a bunch of practical, useful items--including several full-size beauty products with all-natural ingredients.
Check out my unpacking video below, and enter code ELLIE at fabfitfun.com to get $10.00 off your first box. The Fall Box has sold out, but if you order now, you will receive the Editor's Box (filled with FabFitFun's top-rated brands and products). All opinions are my own.
Because I love my readers so much, and because I want you to see how awesome #FabFitFun is, I have set aside one of the most expensive items from the Fall Box to raffle off as a giveaway. Stay tuned for more info!
Those wipes may say flushable, but I've heard on our local news that none of those Cottonelle and other "flushable" wipe products really are. Put a piece of that in water along with a piece of toilet tissue, and stir. See which breaks down first into tiny fibers.
ReplyDeleteDo you really want to ask your sewer system to handle a facial wipe? Sewers are not trash cans. Some cities say you can flush nothing but human waste and toilet tissue. If you cause a clog in the system with anything else, you can be held liable for the cost of repair. This has been a big issue on our city, and back-ups have caused raw sewerage leaks into streams.
Almost $200 a year for someone else to pick out products that I might never use? No thanks.
ReplyDeleteMost subscription boxes can be personalized they are not just useless junk.....
DeleteSorry, but I don't like those subscription box services. Maybe you wouldn't use half the stuff they send you. I know I don't wear hats, so that would have to go elsewhere. Nor would I use that wire thing, the vinegar rinse, the mask, the hand oil, the bag, etc. I really prefer to do my own shopping.
ReplyDeleteSubscription boxes certainly aren't for everybody. That being said, there's always the option of passing on some of the items as gifts.
DeleteEllie
I don't think I'd like to spend money on a box full of stuff that I'd have to give away later.

Delete"Workout" is a noun or an adjective, not a verb. So the bag has a mistake. Should be "work out" with a space.
ReplyDeleteI noticed that, too. I'm a bit of a grammar fanatic, but I've come to realize that not everyone is, and that's okay. :)

I couldn't walk around with someone's error emblazoned on my bag like that.
DeleteWhere do they ship to?
ReplyDeleteFabFitFun currently ships to the United States, Canada, and Puerto Rico. Shipping is an additional $8 for seasonal boxes for all Canada, Puerto Rico, Alaska, and Hawaii orders. Prices on the website are listed in USD.
DeleteEllie
That was entertaining but irrelevant to people out of the US.
ReplyDeleteFabFitFun ships to Canada and Puerto Rico, as well. :)

Puerto Rico is the United States!
DeleteHi there,
DeleteTechnically speaking, Puerto Rico isn't "in" the United States, although it is a territory, and Puerto Ricans are Americans. Puerto Ricans share many of the same rights as those living in the 50 states, although not all of them. I have a friend who grew up in Puerto Rico and still has family there, and I have enjoyed hearing her tell me about her island. It sounds like a beautiful place.

What exactly is a "partner" that you've become? Are you selling these boxes? Is this like Tupperware or something?
ReplyDeleteHi there,
DeleteI was invited to become a partner, which means I received the box for free in exchange for my honest feedback. (I wasn't told what to say.) FabFitFun provides a code (mine is ELLIE) to all their partners, and they give all first-time purchasers $10 off when they use that code. I receive a very small fraction from each box sold, but if I'm being honest, that's not why I agreed to become a partner. I had heard lots of great reviews on these FabFitFun boxes, and I truthfully didn't believe them to be true, so I was intrigued to try it. I found the products inside to be much more useful than I had expected.

If they sold out then there is a demand for this subscription box. My daughters are grown but I think they would want to this when they were younger.
ReplyDeleteSome of that stuff seems ok to get. Some of it is borderline ok. And the gym bag would have been good, but for that very annoying caption. (My purpose when I go out is not to broadcast sassy comments.) That is sort of like a Christmas morning gift opening where the kids sit with their gifts on their lap and put on a few things. If they are disappointed they mask it. Maybe thats what the mud is for.
ReplyDeleteI guess you have to be the kind of person who likes spending money on things you can't examine in advance. Maybe you feel you need someone to "surprise" you. Except it's your money, not theirs. I feel the same way about any of the subscription boxes, not just this one. What need do they fill?
ReplyDeleteI have not done one before but this year I might make a shoe box donation to s
ReplyDeleteamaritans purse. I have been reading up on what to put in. (That gym bag would not even be much good for regifting. It is english so confusing in a shoe box. At a shelter it would be insulting. That's not an item that is going to 'fit' easily!)
My goodness, so much negativity. I can see the handyness of this, however I live outside the states and Canada.
ReplyDeleteIt's given me ideas for my new business
Dear Ellie, I really like your blog. But really, do you have to promote your MLM here? I thought you were too smart for that. Your blogs are unique and high quality until now.
ReplyDeleteAnonymous you are very RUDE!! Ellie sharing about the box has NOTHING to do with her intelligence!! Shame on you...
DeleteSo many rude comments. Ellie thank you for sharing your opinion on the box. I have been getting the box for almost a year now and love most items I receive. They even offer items you can choose. That way can be more personalized. I get subscription boxes are not for everyone but to each their own. Thanks Ellie for this blog and the Duggar and Bates Blogs with your mom.
