Merry Christmas and Happy New Year! Mr. Handsome was sick over Christmas, but we were able to spend time with family after he recovered. One of the highlights of the season for Little Buddy was ice skating. It was his first time, and he picked it up surprisingly quickly. Daddy held onto him most of the time, but by the end, he was eager to break away and try it on his own (with help from an ice walker).
How did you celebrate the holidays?

We about froze in that polar vortex event. Neighbors’ pipes froze and then burst while they were out of town. Power was out to most of the area for a day or two. It was not a happy holiday.
Did your husband have Covid or RSV? I know many people who had one of those over Christmas. We really should schedule it for June when it makes more sense to travel and gather.

I’m sorry to hear that! Sounds like a rough holiday. He tested negative for COVID. Could have been RSV, although the kids had that weeks earlier, and he didn’t catch it then. Maybe just the flu. It’s hard to say though. It was odd that he didn’t’ have any upper respiratory symptoms.

Happy New Year Ellie, to you and your loved ones.
Little Buddy looks ready for action! The ice walkers are so handy to get new skaters started. Enjoy the activity. So fun.

Hooray for little Buddy. He learned how to ice skate. You might have a budding athlete. We had a nice Christmas. Wishing you and yours a Happy and Blessed 2023. God Bless.

Ellie your husband could have had the Flu. I heard RSV was for kids only

It’s not just for kids. I know several people over 60 who had RSV in November and December. They tested positive for it.
